Bowmanville Valleys 2000 Education Series

Every trail tells a story, every season brings new discoveries, and every child has the opportunity to become a steward of the natural world.

The Bowmanville Valleys 2000 Education Series was created to inspire curiosity, foster environmental stewardship, and connect students with the remarkable landscapes, wildlife, and history found throughout the Bowmanville Valleylands. Through engaging, curriculum-connected learning resources, students are encouraged to explore, ask questions, solve problems, and discover how healthy ecosystems contribute to vibrant communities.

Designed to support Ontario educators from Kindergarten through the intermediate grades, the series includes ready-to-use lessons, outdoor learning activities, inquiry projects, and hands-on experiences that bring classroom learning into nature. Each resource aligns with the Ontario curriculum while nurturing a sense of wonder, responsibility, and belonging.

By helping young people experience the valley today, we are investing in the environmental leaders, volunteers, and community champions of tomorrow—ensuring the Bowmanville Valleylands remain a treasured place for generations to come.
